So...it's been a crazy past few weeks. Finally the holidays are behind us. Bitter sweet saying goodbye to 2009. December was a whirlwind, and January is always a welcome return back to schedules and routine. All that to say I did not spend any time fine tuning photography skills. I did, of course, snap some shots of friends and family over Christmas and New Year's. Here are a few of my favorites:
Smiling at his Papa
Sitting on his MawMaw's lap
Ok, at first glance this looks like every other Christmas picture of a child holding up a gift. But take another look. See his grandmother's face behind him?? LOL!! I think she's more excited for Eli than Eli is excited about the Xbox 360!
My best friend has a baby boy, Thomas, one week older than Sam. This is so much fun for us! Thomas and Sam finally got to meet each other at Chuy's restaurant on Christmas Eve.
This is Serah and I with our three children each! My daughter, Brilynn, is almost the same age Serah and I were when we met each other in high school! I love that we have a picture of all of us together - which is nearly impossible these days with her living in Louisiana and me in Alabama!
"Gerber Baby"
That's enough for now. I just registered for a photography class at Samford University! I start in a couple of weeks. I can't wait. I'm one of those people who learn better in a class environment than on my own. So I'm really excited about this!
