i did what???

that's right....i helped shoot at my first wedding!!  i consider it a blessing that i crossed paths with birmingham photographer, yuri ayers.  and for some reason he's allowed me to come along side him and learn from him along with work with him.  so last weekend i assisted him and shot with him at a gorgeous wedding with a gorgeous bride and groom!  it was so much fun - and exhausting!  i loved it.  :)  i'm not sure how well i did...not very well, i don't think.  but considering the fact that i got thrown into it with no experience with weddings whatsoever - i suppose i'll call it a success since i survived the day without yuri strangling me!! here are just a couple of shots...i might post a few more later...


all but two of the bridesmaids were ballerinas...all of them are absolutely beautiful!






this is the mother of the bride, i thought she was almost as stunning as the bride...she was beaming!

i'm heading to a sweet sixteen birthday party tonight!  hopefully i'll get some fun images from that shoot to share!  i can't believe i'm lucky enough to be learning and doing what i love.....i'm pinching myself right now!!  :)
