My Daughter - Homecoming 2010

i swear it was just yesterday i was curling my daughter's hair in sponge rollers in preparation for her first day of kindergarten. back when she would wear white ruffled socks with her open toed pink sandals and when holding mom's hand was considered cool.

now she's fifteen. a sophomore in high school. and absolutely beautiful. i don't tell her enough how proud she makes me. she's a good kid. she has good friends. she loves to laugh...especially at me, i think. and she does well in school...very well, actually. she has an inner strength and determination that surprises me at times. she is a leader with strong morals. she is thoughtful, emotional (aren't all girls at this age?), and tough.

as a mother i hope she embraces this life and lives it full out. loving God. loving people. doing what she loves and doing her best. what more could a mother ask for? brilynn, i hope to capture many more special moments and memories in your life. homecoming is just one of many more to come for you. i love you.

OMG....seriously?!!? Not only has Brilynn grown up into a beautiful young lady, she has turned out to be such a well rounded individual! I'm giving ALL the credit to you...the MOM! I can only hope that my girls will have the conviction she has in her heart. I'm so excited to be a part of watching your kids grow up. And even better to see it through your camera lens! I'm so proud of you, Audrey. Every photo I see just gets better & better.
P.S.-I totally teared up when I saw these Homecoming pics. Especially the template of her getting ready. (Are you surprised??)
